GBA 3DS Virtual Console Rumor Update

Nintendo Australia issued a statement on the rumors that GBA games would be coming to the 3DS Virtual Console service:

Nintendo Australia would like to confirm the recent update to the website highlighting Game Boy Advance titles are available on Nintendo eShop was posted in error. Nintendo Australia can confirm there are no current plans for Game Boy Advance games to be released on Virtual Console for Nintendo 3DS. We would also like to confirm Dr. Mario is available as a Game Boy title on Virtual Console via Nintendo eShop. We would like to apologize for any confusion this has caused.

My take: Sounds like damage control to me. Someone probably screwed up.

Browser crashed near the end. I really find it hard to believe that they STILL have not announced what games will be available on launch day. The release date is only 3 months away and yet we don’t know what games we can buy at launch? That doesn’t make sense. Hopefully they’ll do another event in the near future to talk about them. And that’s the end of the live stream. Event attendees will have playable demos of some of the games shown. Look for info on those later today.

Morning LOL

I know I always do this whenever I play a Zelda game. Gotta get all the rupees and such. Plus it’s just fun to smash up all the pots. I like the woman in Skyward Sword that would yell at you for doing so. That was funny.
