Wii U Demo Stations Begin Appearing

It looks like Wii U demo stations are finally starting to show up at retailers, a month to the day before the launch date. I personally am surprised they waited this long to put demos out. They should’ve been out 2 months ago. Anyways, here’s a few pictures a user sent to GoNintendo:

Daily Recap For 10/17/12 (Yesterday)

Yesterday we had several videos and a couple news items. Capcom announced the NES classic Ghosts ‘n Goblins will be coming to the 3DS Virtual Console. As I mentioned before, I really enjoyed that game despite the high degree of difficulty. The SNES one, Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts was also fun. We also got confirmation that Mario & Zelda characters will be in Scribblenauts Unlimited which isn’t too surprising, considering the game is only appearing on 3DS, Wii U, and PC. I wonder if the PC version will have the Nintendo characters though? As always, thanks for checking out the blog and for any and all comments. Random Game Facts – Nintendo DS

I always wondered why they didn’t stick with the Game Boy brand. I guess they wanted to make sure it was named differently in case it flopped and if it did they could just go back to the Game Boy name for the next handheld and not have that brand tarnished.
