Rumor – Call of Duty: Ghosts – Existence & Release Date Update

A promotional poster has seemingly confirmed that Call of Duty: Ghosts is real and not only that, but has also revealed the release date for the game. According to the poster, Call of Duty: Ghosts will be released November 5th. This time frame would make sense as games in the series tend to be big sellers and this is right before the holiday shopping season and previous games in the series have released around that time as well. Activision is rumored to be revealing the game officially tomorrow, May 1st. We shall see if this indeed 100% confirmed by them. Here’s a look a the poster:

Rumor – Next Xbox To Receive Exclusive Title By Call of Duty Creators

According to Kotaku, Respawn Entertainment, which is the studio founded by the creators of Call of Duty, will be bringing an exclusive “futuristic multiplayer-centric online shooter” to the next Xbox. There are also plans to release the game on the Xbox 360 as well. Who knows, maybe even the rumored cross-platform achievement system will feature in these games, but that’s speculation on my part. Rumor – LEGO Friends Game Being Made For Nintendo 3DS?

According to the French site Wii Z, there is a listing of a game on Amazon based on the LEGO Friends series for the 3DS. The LEGO Friends range of Lego’s are products intended mainly for girls, so one would assume that a video game based on that would be as well. According to the listing, the game is scheduled to be released on September 1st. Here’s a screen capture of the Amazon listing:

EarthBound/Mother 4 Not Happening Says Series Creator

EarthBound/Mother series creator Shigesato Itoi has started answering some fan questions on Twitter and recently was asked about the possibility of Mother 4 being made. He said that it’s impossible. He also took another question about whether or not a Mother game would be released on 3DS and said that it was out of his hands. So it looks like if you’re waiting for another EarthBound game, you’re going to be waiting a long time. Either that or Itoi-san will not be involved with it.

Monster Hunter Tri Signs Off

Today Capcom will be shutting down the multiplayer servers for the Wii version of Monster Hunter Tri. Players still interested in playing the game will have to do so as mainly a single player experience. Alternatively you can also pick up the 3DS or Wii U version of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and play online with those (though the 3DS version’s online component requires a Wii U and an app called Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Packet Relay Tools For Nintendo 3DS to act as a sort of server/host).

And if you’re looking to purchase either or both versions of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate you can do so in the GameSaga Mega Store (powered by Amazon)!
