WALNUT CREEK, Calif. – (May 13, 2013) – Video game publisher Maximum Games announced that the highly anticipated delivery of Worms™ Collection to retailers is confirmed for May 21, 2013. Developed by Team 17 Digital, Ltd., Worms Collection combines three well-known Worms titles in one package, and will include Worms™, Worms™ 2: Armageddon, and Worms™ Ultimate Mayhem, plus six additional DLC (Downloadable Content) packs.

“The original Worms is beloved classic to gamers the world over,” said Len Ciciretto, president of Maximum Games. “We are honored to bring Worms™ Collection to long-time fans and introduce it to an entire new generation of strategy gamers, as well.”

  • Worms™, the classic 2D strategy game that started it all, delivers an addictive mix of strategy and arcade-action that offers limitless offline and online entertainment for up to 4 players. It’s golden-age gaming at its comically violent best.
  • Worms™ 2: Armageddon pushes the Worms cartoon carnage into overdrive, offering stunning new visuals and an arsenal of apocalyptic arms. Fuse – Insomniac Says Wii U Version Still Possible

fuse logo Fuse Insomniac Says Wii U Version Still Possible

If you were hoping to pick up Insomniac Games’ new action game Fuse on Wii U, you were probably disappointed that it wasn’t announced for the system. But Insomniac CEO Ted Price has some perhaps hopeful news for you, as seen in an interview article on Digitally Downloaded:

“We have to be selective because it’s easy to start to stretch yourself too thin. So we’re careful about where we go. One of the questions I got a lot of early on was ‘why aren’t you developing for the Wii U?’ and the answer was simply bandwidth. We had to focus on delivering a great game on multiple platforms, but there’s a point where we had to make hard choices, and for us we needed to limit the number of platforms for FUSE.” – Ted Price, CEO at Insomniac Games as told to Matt Sainsbury, Digitally Downloaded

“But we’re not ruling out anything in the future. We are a content creator and we want to reach as large of an audience as we can.”  - Ted Price, CEO at Insomniac Games as told to Matt Sainsbury, Digitally Downloaded
