Hi, Pokémon fans. As you may know, we are currently experiencing a large volume of traffic on the Nintendo Network service. Due to the high traffic, we are postponing the launch of Pokémon Bank and Poké Transporter until further notice. As a Nintendo standard, we strive for the utmost quality before launching any of our applications. We truly regret the inconvenience, and wish to reassure you that providing a solution is our top priority. We apologize for the delay and thank you for your continued patience.

Nintendo and The Pokémon Company International have postponed the launch of Pokémon Bank and Poké Transporter – two software applications that were originally scheduled to launch for Nintendo 3DS on Dec. 27 – due to a large volume of traffic to the Nintendo Network service. Due to the high traffic, players are having trouble setting up Nintendo Network IDs and downloading content in the Nintendo eShop on both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. We truly regret the inconvenience, and wish to reassure everyone that providing a solution is our top priority. We apologize for the delay and thank you for your continued patience.

If you just got a Wii U or 3DS for Christmas and want to get online with it, you might be like thousands and thousands of other people, as the Nintendo Network is currently down from overwhelming demand. Part of this has seemingly been attributed to Pokémon Bank’s release as well and the service has been temporarily removed from the eShop due to the issues surrounding the connectivity problems. No word on when the services will be up and running again smoothly, but I’m sure Nintendo is doing everything they can to get it fixed. Especially since this time of year is a popular time for gaming due to many people being on vacation from work/school.

final fantasy x x 2 hd remaster logo 300x16611 Rumor Final Fantasy X 3 Possibly In Development?

The HD remake of Final Fantasy X & X-2 (Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster) was released in Japan today and an Ultimania book was released as well for it. In the book, Scenario Writer Kazushige Nojima briefly mentioned the idea of a possible Final Fantasy X-3 game. He says:

“If there’s enough demand, then we may possibly see new developments. I would personally like to see a sequel like X-3.”

If Final Fantasy X-3 does become reality, then it would mark only the second time Square Enix has made a second sequel to a Final Fantasy game
