Sony To Refund Pre-Order Price Difference For The Last Of Us: Remastered

Despite what they had stated earlier, Sony will indeed refund the $10.00 price difference to those who have pre-ordered The Last Of Us: Remastered on PlayStation prior to the price drop that recently happened. If you had pre-ordered through Amazon or other retailers, you should’ve already received your $10.00 refund, but it wasn’t known until now whether or not Sony would refund customers who pre-ordered through the PlayStation Store. Sony’s policy regarding pre-order refunds, which is clearly indicated on the pre-order page for The Last Of Us: Remastered and states the  following:

“YOU MAY NOT CANCEL A PRE-ORDER AT ANY TIME AND REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDERS, SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE LAWS.”

Despite this disclaimer, VP of Publisher and Developer Relations at PlayStation Adam Boyes and President of Sony Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida both have told customers via Twitter that they should receive a $10.00 refund within the next 5-7 days. So if you pre-ordered The Last Of Us: Remastered through the PlayStation Store, keep on eye on your credit card/bank account for the next week or so to make sure you receive your $10.00 refund.

Xbox One VS PlayStation 4, Which Is More Popular On Facebook?

xbox one ps4 facebook popularity 300x185 Xbox One VS PlayStation 4, Which Is More Popular On Facebook?

Despite the fact that PlayStation 4 is outselling Xbox One, the latest console from Microsoft is the more liked of the two consoles on Facebook. Movoto Real Estate Blog recently examined the data on a state-by-state basis to determine which of the two systems were more popular on the social networking website. They found that the Xbox One is the more popular of the two in 22 states, while the PS4 is close behind at 19 states. They also determined that there were 9 states that were tied with no clear majority for either platform. You might be wondering where the Wii U is in all of this, after all, it too is a current console on the market. Well, it seems that the Wii U didn’t get anywhere near the number of likes as the PlayStation 4 & Xbox One, as it had less than half of the number of likes of both the PS4 & Xbox One in just about every state. Clearly the lack of Facebook likes doesn’t mean a lack of sales as the numbers show that the PS4 is outselling the Xbox One, but it’s still interesting nonetheless.

Guess The System, Game, or Character Week 13

It’s Sunday and that means it’s time for another edition of Guess The System, Game, or Character! Haven’t played before? Here’s how it works. Each week we’ll post a different video game system, game, or character and shroud it in darkness. Your job is to guess which system, game, or character it is. Systems & characters will just show a silhouette. Games will show a silhouette and also provide a few details about the game (as game boxes/carts/discs look too similar to use just a silhouette). We also will post leaderboards with this feature so you can track your score & progress and compete with other readers. We’ll probably eventually offer prizes of some sort if there’s enough participation. Scoring will be as follows:

  • First Correct Guess: 10 Points
