Project Spark (PC & XO) – Screenshots & Release Date

Microsoft has announced that they will be releasing a “starter” version of Project Spark on October 7th in North America, October 9th in Australasia, and on October 10th in Europe. For now, this retail version (called the Project Spark Starter Pack), will only be on Xbox One. You’ll also be able to download the same content on the release date on Xbox One & PC. No info was mentioned about the Xbox 360 version.

Boss Key Productions has revealed a few more details about their debut game. For now, it is still being called BlueStreak. It will be a Free-To-Play Sci-Fi based Arena Shooter for the PC. Boss Key is working with Nexon (who is best known for the MapleStory series) on the game as well. Cliff Bleszinski also stated that the game will not be a MOBA despite what had been rumored. He mentioned that he will be holding a Q & A segment tomorrow (July 9th) at 5:30 PM Eastern. He plans to discuss topics such as: F2P, Nexon, PC, and why it will not be a MOBA.

Respawn Announces Next Titanfall DLC, Frontier’s Edge

Respawn Entertainment has announced the next DLC expansion pack for Titanfall. It’s called Frontier’s Edge. A release date has not been announced thus far, but it will be available as an individual purchase of $9.99/£7.99 or as part of the Season Pass for $24.99/£19.99.

Frontier’s Edge sees players taking the battle to the frontier of Titanfall. A war is breaking out with the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation (IMC) and the Militia. Features added in this DLC include parkour wall running, double jumps, and a new ability that will allow you to hijack a titan.

2K Games & Gearbox have announced a brand new game called Battleborn. It’s described as a “hero-shooter” as well as a “First-Person MOBA.”  Battleborn will take place in a futuristic version of sci-fi/fantasy universe. The game will feature a co-op campaign, as well as competitive multiplayer. The game is scheduled to be released on PC, PlayStation 4, & Xbox One sometime during Fiscal Year 2016 which should mean somewhere between April 2015 and March 2016.

Ken Levine (formerly of Irrational Games) recently revealed on his Twitter account that a PlayStation Vita version of BioShock was once planned. According to Mr. Levine, it would’ve been a Tactics game, similar to Final Fantasy Tactics. The above concept art shows what the game might’ve looked like. The posts where he talks about this on Twitter are in the image below.

Sega Bringing Japanese Mobile Games To West

Sega has announced a new partnership with gumi. This has been formed to help bring Sega’s Japanese mobile games to players in North America, Europe, Southern Asia, and other regions outside of Japan. The first title to be launched under this partnership will be the Japanese RPG known as Chain Chronicle. Localization will be handled in a joint development effort.
