Dragon Age: Inquisition Delayed To November

dragon-age-inquisition-logo

EA brings us more bad news with yet another delay. But at least this one isn’t pushed back to 2015. This time, it’s BioWare’s Dragon Age: Inquisition. The next entry in the Dragon Age series will be getting a delay of approximately six weeks. The game was originally scheduled for release on October 7th, but is now scheduled for November 18th in North America & November 21st in Europe. This information comes from the official site and Mark Darrah, Executive Producer of Dragon Age: Inquisition. He didn’t go  into too much detail about why the game was being delayed other than to say that the team needs time to polish the game. He also said that they wanted to “strengthen the emotional impact of the Hero’s choices.”

Battlefield Hardline Delayed To 2015

battlefield-hardline-logo

And yet another title gets delayed until 2015. EA has officially announced via The Battlefield Blog that Battlefield Hardline has been delayed until early 2015. Their reasoning? They want to work more on the multiplayer, single player, and making sure the launch process goes smoothly. Karl Magnus Troedsson, DICE VP & Group GM, describes these things as: Multiplayer Innovation, Single Player Story Depth, & Stability. Basically, he said that the team were taking player feedback received during the beta and wanted to use that to improve the game and because of this the team needs more time.

Disney Interactive Studios has revealed over on the PlayStation Blog that they will be releasing a PlayStation exclusive collector’s edition for Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes. Thus far it appears to only be coming to the PS4, but it’s possible it may be released on PS3 as well, but that is not yet confirmed. The article doesn’t seem to specify which platform(s) will receive the collector’s edition, but the image shown above shows a PS4 logo. The collector’s edition will include the Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes Starter Pack, figures of all members of the Avengers, and the collector’s edition display featuring a built-in Frost Beast.

They also announced that they will be releasing a hardware bundle for the PlayStation 3 this Fall. It will come with a 12 GB PlayStation 3 console and the Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes Starter Pack for a MSRP of $249.99.
