Disney Interactive Studios has revealed over on the PlayStation Blog that they will be releasing a PlayStation exclusive collector’s edition for Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes. Thus far it appears to only be coming to the PS4, but it’s possible it may be released on PS3 as well, but that is not yet confirmed. The article doesn’t seem to specify which platform(s) will receive the collector’s edition, but the image shown above shows a PS4 logo. The collector’s edition will include the Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes Starter Pack, figures of all members of the Avengers, and the collector’s edition display featuring a built-in Frost Beast.
They also announced that they will be releasing a hardware bundle for the PlayStation 3 this Fall. It will come with a 12 GB PlayStation 3 console and the Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes Starter Pack for a MSRP of $249.99.
