2001

  • Earthworm Jim is released by Game Titan & Majesco Games for the Game Boy Advance in North America.

2004

  • Rallisport Challenge 2 is released by Digital Illusions & Microsoft Game Studios for the Xbox in Japan.

2005

  • Nickelodeon airs an episode The Fairly Oddparents TV show in the U.S. In this episode there are a few references. There is a scene where an arcade video game machine appears. It used as an example of “fun.” The building for a video game arcade is shown as well. There is also a scene where a handheld video game system is shown. It resembles the Nintendo Game Boy, but it is called “FUN BOY.”

2008

  • NASCAR 09 is released by EA Tiburon & EA Sports for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, & Mobile Phones in North America.
  • Don King Presents: Prizefighter is released by Venom Games & 2K Sports for Xbox 360 in North America.
  • The Incredible Hulk is released by Edge of Reality & Sega for PC in North America.
  • Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit is released by Dimps & Atari for the PlayStation 3 & Xbox 360 in North America.

2012

  • Pikmin 2: New Play Control! (AKA Nintendo Selects: Pikmin 2) is released by Nintendo EAD & Nintendo for the Wii in North America.

2013

  • The pre-events for the 2013 edition of the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) begin as Microsoft holds their E3 Press Conference. The launch price for the Xbox One is announced as being $499, €499, or £429. The launch date was narrowed down to November 2013, but a specific day was not announced.

2014

  • Enemy Front is scheduled to be released for the PC, PlayStation 3, & Xbox 360 by CI Games & Bandai Namco Games.
  • Day 1 of the 2014 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) is scheduled to begin at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, CA.
  • Nintendo is scheduled to air their Nintendo Digital Event, their spin on the traditional E3 press conference.
